Aisha Actress (Nichole Brown) Fired From the Show?

Aisha's actress Nichole Brown said they didn't ask her back for Season 3. She posted that the writers had been unable to fit her into scripts and she was upset because she needed the money.

Honestly, I'm not surprised by this. The writers had no idea what to do with her character. Aisha had way more screentime in Season 1 compared to Season 2 where her character kind of faded to background. She was pretty terrible actress too.

Aisha's an inspiration for plus size girls. Shame she was written off. Worst of all, she was also the only black girl and the new one appeared for one episode and got her ass kick by the white girl.

i thought this season might be alot of Japan episodes, and having Barnes and Ali coming back for alot of the season, so thought her character wasn't going to be needed like the larusso son, but watching it she could easily been added to alot of the school scenes, So definitely another reason she wasn't called back.

Yeah I agree, she was really inspirational for big girls to get out there and go for it. They definitely need more black characters in general. They are supposed to be in California and almost all of the major characters are white. It’s not very representative of the real world, but I did like that they didn’t make all of the black characters one note good guys, like at Juvie, they portrayed those characters who’ve lived a realistic life where you’ve got to be the toughest guy in the room or you’re dead. At least realistically good fighters.

I assumed it was because she couldn't pass for a teen any longer. It's a problem they are going to have to deal with. If they solve the problem by having the kids graduate, they could reintroduce her.
