Yep, Morgan Spurlock has essentially become the William Castle of documentary filmmaking. The fact that he chose to direct a One Direction documentary a couple years ago, says everything I need to know about him. The guy simply came up with a clever idea one time, and ran his whole career with it.
Thankfully, it seems like this shitty attempt of his to stay relevant hasn't really worked. As barely has anyone heard of this film, let alone seen it. I didn't even know it existed until you posted about it.
Yeah i didn't know it existed either until I saw it on Amazon prime. It's shit. He tried to be clever but failed miserably. Oh yeah the whole him opening up a fast food chicken restaurant was just for the documentary. The first comment I posted was like me 10 mins into this film.
i think ssm2 is a pretty clever way to promote his restaurant. afterall he just creates a new transparency halo, without being really transparent.
i also think he is fully aware emotions beat conciousness. so even if he tells some of his tricks, the mechanisms are still in process.
Could you have a better story told than a movie?
He is dead serious about making money with chicken burgers.
