So, if I understand correctly, in the end she dies due to internal bleeding from the punches and kicks. Right? Her belly looks purple though, but I assume it's supposed to be red/black.
Can anybody explain what the story of the day in the snow was? For some reason out of the blue she wanted to go somewhere and they ended up being stuck in snow.
1. Why did they go to that place?
2. Why is this scene played at the end?
3. Does anything specific happen there?

That scene was brought up after her daughter remembered that event in the snow where they got lost. I guess she just wanted to escape from her daily stress, therefore she went into the woods. I don't think anything specific happens there.

It's the best memory the daughter had of their life together. So at the end I think Bell wanted to savor that moment before dying. Otherwise, her life was one big fuck-up after another.
Yes, she had internal injuries from the kicks Petra gave her. She was showing more and more injury as time went on, so I inferred a ruptured spleen or liver.
