What an absolute pile of self indulgent trash

This movie sucked. But then I knew it would. Any film starring Brad Pitt and Leo DiCaprio would always suck.

Self indulgent, bad characters, embarrassingly bad acting. Inferior script. Not funny. Not entertaining. Boring to the hilt.

Brad and Leo are a total disaster in this film. I've never seen a single movie that was good with either one. Leo couldn't act to save his life. Never could act. He was always the pretty boy. But I'm sorry, pretty olds boys and no talent doesn't cut it.

All through the movie you can see they were acting. Okay so it's a send up. Still, they're still useless.

When I think back to the glory days of Hollywood, when you couldn't see actors were acting. It looked real. Then I see this trash. I realised Hollywood may be truly dead.

I didn't think it was a bad movie, but yes, it was very self-indulgent. "See, here, in this reality, not only do the murders get foiled, and the evil murderers get their comeuppance, but it was our kind of people (i.e. celebrities) who were the heroes."

BEST FILM OF THE YEAR.

I wouldn't say it sucked, but it wasn't very good.

I'm new here and this is my first comment. I completely understand why you feel the way you do about the film, in a way it is a film that doesn't have a real point if you will. I personally appreciate the months in a life perspective it provides. I was born in the 90's so while it may not be as effective for me as it is people who were born and/or raised in the 60's I can accept that it is a nostalgia trip. Hope this sounded ok I'm new to this and would love to hear more of what you have to say.

WELL SAID...I WAS BORN IN 81,SO THE NOSTALGIA IS MORE SO RELATED TO FILMS AND SHOWS OF THE ERA THAT I HAVE WATCHED THAN THE ERA ITSELF...THE FILM WORKS WONDERFULLY FOR ME...IN MY OPINION IT WAS THE FILM OF THE YEAR....WELCOME TO MOVIECHAT BTW...STICK AROUND,COMMENT AND POST A LOT AND IGNORE THE ASSHATS.

It was definitely the film of the year for me too. Thank you I definitely will.

An entertaining, well-made, easy-to-follow movie. How could anyone with a functioning brain not get it?

Wa s even surprised to see green car (read, envrio, Greta THunberg-approved car driver!) Leo in a 1969 world, with the old GMC FIshbowls(and maybe a few of Flxible's Fishbowl wannabes) and others diesel-powered ad gas powered, no rap music or anything...Agreed on the glory in the old Holklywood being just seeing Actors were NOT actng, that they WERE those characters..

You’ve never even seen it
