This or Inglourious Basterds?
I really liked Inglourious Basterds, one of Quentin's best.

shareI haven't watched IB since it came out. OUATIH I have seen 4 times already and probably could watch at least 4 more.
shareSame here for me. I think I’ve seen IB two times and the second viewing was because a friend had not seen it. I’ve seen OUATIH 4 times in the theater and once since it’s been streaming.
For me, QT hit a stretch of films that I just did not enjoy:
Django Unchained
Inglorious Basterds
Hateful Eight
With Once Upon a Time in Hollywood I feel like he’s back.
I can't say that there are any QT films I didn't enjoy, but the three movies you mentioned are my least favorite.
shareI personally rank IB as top tier Tarantino.
Once Upon a Time in Hollywood both impressed me and frustrated me. At times I wasn't sure if I would rank it worse than Death Proof or better. My feelings kept changing all throughout the film. Certain times I thought Leo may have been miscast and someone slightly older may have been better (also, Leo felt too caricatured to me in many scenes while Brad Pitt always felt real), but then Leo amazes you with his trailer flipout scene.
This, just barely.
But I've always been kind of fascinated with late 60s Hollywood.
Both are about equal to me, but really different because of the time periods/locations of the stories. They have the same cinematic style though and, of course, amusing/interesting changes to history.

shareJust to be that guy in the room, I thought IG was an absolute dogshit film start to finish. QT at his worst. One of Pitt's worst performances.
