Good movie, but can we agree that. . .

. . . any time Leo or Brad wasn't on the screen the film ground to a halt? Those two were 100% watchable and kept things fun even when not a whole lot seemed to be happening. But whenever the POV switched to Margot, as nice as she is to look at my attention started to wander.

Can we also agree that this film will probably be better the second time around?

At least for me that is true, mostly because through two parts of the movie (the big cult scene at the Western ranch and the ending) I was dreadfully afraid that Brad was going to get killed off and that would've pissed me off badly. He was too good in this to kill! The second time around I'll be able to just sit back and relax and enjoy the story as it unfolds.

You are way off. The parts with Sharon Tate were really enjoyable, especially the scenes where she goes to see her movie. It was really sweet to see her interested in what how the audience reacted to her performance. She did a good job playing Sharon.

I'll agree about the scene where she went to the theater. That was a good scene. It was interesting both from a visual and character standpoint.

I found everything else with her to be pretty unmemorable, though.

I liked the other scenes where she was just being carefree Sharon also. I thought the Playboy Mansion scene was also good.

I totally enjoyed the scenes with Tate especially the first evening where the camera shows what each character is doing.

Leo drinking at his pool, Pitt feeding the doggo & the Stars attending a playboy party. Also the theatre scene was sweet.
I do agree, as any other QT film, the second viewing is special because the tension is gone and you can focus on other things : )

I think you could have chopped an hour out of this movie and it would have been pretty great.

Mostly agree with your first point. Definitely agree with improving upon a rewatch.
