Super excited for this. QT is a hit and miss for me but Leo is my favourite actor so this is a must watch in a theater for me.

CAN'T WAIT !!

I wasn't bowled away by the trailer, but Tarantino hasn't let me down so far. I've liked all of his films, and his last one, the underrated The Hateful Eight, is one of my favourites of his.

Plus, Margo Robbie. ❤️

Didn't know Luke Perry was in this,

This is gonna be amazing!

reply

Egh, it's alright I guess.

A breath of fresh air to see what looks like a big Hollywood film without a political slant. 100% watch.

reply

Isn't that the truth. Hollywood has gotten so damn political and leftist that it's starting to affect the way I feel about movies. And that's not cool.

reply

It looks more like a conedy than anything else. The trailer doesn’t even hint at the murders.

reply

Manson, his girls, Sharon Tate?

reply

I wouldn't know that was Manson, his girls, or Tate going by the trailer.

reply

Manson, his girls and Tate; is hinting at the murders.

reply

I guess. I didn't notice Manson until you mentioned it and I went back to watch (I assume he's the dude with the long hair and beard). I also didn't really even notice the girls other than... girls. As for Tate, I would have no idea that was her unless I knew Margot Robbie played her. She otherwise looked like just some blonde chick in the 60's. So yeah, I watched the trailer without noticing any Manson stuff.

If one does not know that Manson, Tate etc are characters and when it takes place, it's impossible to know. But if one does know, it's obvious that Manson, his girls and Tate, are hinting at the murders.

The genre is listed under Comedy/Drama.. So yeah, expect comedy.

That's usually an element in every QT movie, but the trailer did have a "The Nice Guys" kinda vibe. There is a clip in the trailer that does show Charles Manson and what appears to be the "Manson Girls", I don't think he'll want to give away how he'll be using the murders as a back drop to the story in the trailer.

ya Ive seen 3 dif trailers , all completely dif. Original one I saw; like urself I didnt catch any of the manson thing. ya the "I'm sharon tate" line obviously gave a forced correlation of Manson to the mind, but otherwise complete comedy fun theme going on.
The other was complete opposite and dark, focusing mostly on manson fam/tate murder. An the last was a even mix of the two. Christ are they trying to sell tickets I guess.
It sure is funny how a trailer can really be complete double edge sword for so many movies, at least in my own experience.... much like the picture that can make the pretty look ugly (an vice versa) etc.
Sry for grammatical nightmare, but saw ur comment and felt the same thing, ur not crazy!!!
Cheers
