I just saw this was submitted by Warner Bros. for all categories at the Oscars lol. This could be amusing.

This movie does have one legitimate advantage that most people are looking over.

The competition sucks. We've got Soul and maybe a couple others that are good. WW84 is likely to pick up something.

Indeed. That's why I think they slipped it in the arse end of 2020. What better way to get awards for your shitty film than to release it in a year where only a handful of films were released.

tenet is not a good movie but blows WW84 out of the water.

There was actually quite a few good films that were released in 2020: Nomadland, Mank, Da 5 Bloods, The Trial of the Chicago 7, Tenet, I'm Thinking of Ending Things, The Invisible Man, Mulan, Emma, Ma Rainey's Black Bottom, Sound of Metal, The Prom, amongst others. Any and all of these have a better shot at winning Oscars than Wonder Woman 1984.

I liked this movie but I don't think it deserves to be nominated for best picture. The same goes for most Superhero movies. But then again I don't watch modern dramas either.
