It appears that way out of context, but without going into too much detail, that’s not really how it plays out. And despite being someone people might accuse of being a homophobic, I thought that was one of the best scenes in the movie.

i thought venom 2 was a reasonably good time. much like the first one, the best stuff is hardy slapstick. the cgi fights are kinda terrible, but terrible in a fun way.
