Safe to Say Most of the Mystery is Gone...

Regarding the climax of the show I mean, the so called "big reveal" We now know that Will (& Lady Trieu) has in his hands the technology that the clan used to mind control the African American population into killing themselves back when he was young. We see him kill the chief with it.

So it's obvious to say what exactly Lady Trieu's clock is & what it will do, but the thing is if they're not going to kill just anybody, how are they going to target who they want to kill? Well i was thinking of Looking Glass's "racist test" that he uses in the pods to interrogate suspects. It's designed to somehow gauge someone's reaction to subliminal prompts/messages. Well I have to imagine that Trieu & Will will have the clock tower broadcast a modified & more powerful (& accurate?) version of what LG currently uses.

This will be how they can make sure that they'll get who they want & not just anybody. The test will be how they will exclude those of us that they aren't going after. But the thing is what is the Seventh Kavalary going to use? Thought maybe it was the same thing, but if it is then it's a race to see who uses it first & how well. If not, if they are planning something totally different but it's going to be a clash of doomsday scenarios I would imagine. What do you all think?

There are questions small and large still to unravel regardless of knowing the true identity of Hooded Justice. Some may not be significant to the overall importance of the final episode though.

Something happened in Vietnam that brought Will's family (through Bass Reeves) and Lady Trieu's family (through the Vietnamese warrior Lady Trieu who resisted the occupation of Vietnam by the Chinese) together via a bonding tragedy. Both idolized their heroes, took their names and through some shared trauma or tragedy are attempting to reclaim their legacies through revenge.

If the White Supremacists can't live on this planet peacefully why not facilitate their exit to some other planet where they can make their utopia. Adrian Veidt can be their leader and Dr. Manhattan can be their man-made god.

With a mind control device you don't necessarily have to order people to get violent. You can make them do whatever you want. Buy your products. Worship you as a god. Live according to your vision of a utopia (which may also involve worshipping you as a god). Power over free will is truly absolute power. Not even buried thoughts of dissent, since you've eliminated all desire for rebellion. Except maybe Looking Glass. That mirrored mask that shields his brain might protect him from this too.
