How does this fair compared to the movie?

I enjoyed the movie but of course, a television series won't have the same scale and budget. So how does it fair?

They have very little in common. The show is more or a fan fiction which uses some of the names and props from the comic.
But it's still early, of course.

Thanks. I'll pass.

You are asking too early into the series, though.
Although I'd say it's worth a watch based on the two episodes so far anyway.

they did manage to nail the look and feel of the film, even on the smaller budget

I'm pretty sure that you meant "fare", but double entendre aside, the series does play "fair" with the movie and "fares" just as comparably with the comic (graphic novel) as the movie does. Non-linear storytelling, satirical take on Vigilantes/Masked Crimefighters, moral ambiguity of those sworn to uphold the law and societal tensions in a particular time period.

The scale and budget will probably be more than evened out with the length of time invested in a series. Nine episodes versus 1 movie (2 hrs 42 minutes). It will be roughly 3:1 in time spent on story.
