This show is racist

Somehow a great premise like Watchmen, they have turned it into a anti white racist show. I won't be watching this leftwing swill.

reply

If being against white supremacists is considered "left-wing", then I don't even know what to say anymore.

And I say this as someone centrist at best.

The problem is how you define 'white supremacist'. The original definition refers to the ideologies that supported some 'Race X' (whites, japaneses, arabs, and so) having the right to rule other races. That way of thinking is almost non-existent nowadays.

In modern world, the label is usually applied to people who don't want to share their country with other cultures* or just don't want their country to be a multicultural country (the culture is the true key element, not the race). Let's be aware that this is a completely different concept from the original meaning.

People in general are selective. If you're looking for a roommate, you'd rather look for a compatible one. If you want to focus in studies, you'll avoid roommates that focus in parties or make too much noise. Living together is not easy, especially when people have different systems of rules. The same applies to communities and countries. 'Left-wing' people are no less selective than 'right-wing' ones, I haven't seen them hiring rooms in their homes while saying 'open doors, anybody will be accepted'. Truth is they're as much selective as right-wing people when it comes to open the doors of their home, the difference is that right-wing people consider their country as their home, while left-wing people don't.

---
*Of course, there's shades of grey. Some cultures are more compatible. English descendants can handle reasonably well living with German descendants (cultures are close enough), while not handling well living with Mexican or African-American ones (cultures are far more different).

reply

And what makes the US anybody's country?

reply

If being against white supremacists is considered "left-wing"

The absolute obsession with "white supremacy" is the cornerstone to modern leftist politics. So much so that it allows for constant antagonization of white people in general. It has paved the way for white people in general to be told they should all feel guilt, that white children should acknowledge some sort of mythical privilege no matter what life circumstances they are born into simply because of the color of their skin, and the media is a non stop barrage of insulting white people on a daily basis. The government has enacted systemic racist policies against white people on multiple fronts. White people are literally the only group in the country not "allowed" to organize as a "community" unlike basically any and every other group in the country. Modern leftists are openly racist against white people. And they do so under the guise of attacking "white supremacy".

reply

I'ts not antiwhite. So far.
But this constant emphasis on racism is wearing. Especially for non-Americans who don't share this obsession with colors.

reply

Yeah, they are just openly racist instead. πŸ˜„

reply

Or maybe some people just don't see the world in terms things as shallow as skin color.

reply

I am just saying what the reality is based on the things I've seen and heard from others. Very few people are actually that enlightened.

reply

Go out in the real world, and get off the internet. I RARELY see racism actually enacted in real life, and when I do, it's equally distributed by races.

reply

And what makes you assume that I don't?? I've traveled to and lived in other countries, this isn't merely a conjecture on my part.

If you really think there is very little racism in the world, you hold an unjustifiably high opinion of humans. People are even prejudiced within the same racial groups - by region, ethnicity, and so on.

Also not sure where or when I ever said that racism is only limited to one race.

reply

I never said it was rare, but I don't think racism is rampant, and certainly not as extreme as the media portrays. Most beings are inclined to interact with and favor those similar to them. This has been proven in various studies, and I don't consider that racism, because prejudice and racism isn't the same. Proactive racism, where people actively engage in harming another race, is extremely rare.

reply

That's the thing: people forget that racist attitude\racist beliefs are not the same as discrimination.
"He looked at me funny" or even "He made a racist joke" is not the same as "I didn't get the job because I'm black" or, Gods forbid, "A bunch of thugs assaulted my because of my skin color".
And no, one doesn't necessarily leads to the other.

reply

Half of the US is also sick of it. It's only the left in the US that is obsessed with it. This show is just one more example and there's plenty of insinuation throughout the first episode of politics. Anyone black or covers their lower face = good. Hrm, Antifa/blm? And anyone white and has an American flag = bad or racist/trump supporter. That's all that left can ever talk about and if anyone disagrees with them, they'll say they're a Nazi. If you want an example of that, just look at the comment below. And about .00000000001% of the US identifies as a Nazi or white supremacist, but the left tries to make it seem like some kind of epidemic. Same thing with the police. But most people have started waking up to their ridiculous bullshit.

reply

Most Americans don't obsess on color, but American media certainly does. They've all jumped on the woke bandwagon, and are trying to out virtue signal each other.

reply

take your Nazi propaganda elsewhere

reply

Huh?

reply

What's so anti-white about it? I haven't gotten around to watching the first episode yet.

reply

Nothing, you can disregard that claim.

reply

Anti racism/ anti white supremacy to a white supremacist = anti white. With that in mind it should put into perspective the kind of degenerate mindset that perpetuates that kind of twisted logic.

reply

Except when in show after show, white supremacy is conflated with ideas that have nothing to do with white supremacy. Shows that teach a warped and exaggerated view of white racism are often decried by whites who know better, and then called white supremacists in turn.

Here are some common things in that department; 5% of whites in South owned slaves, who had less than 50% of the population of the North, and the US population doubled due to European immigration after the Civil War... very few people's ancestors actually owned slaves in recent history. Everyday 100 white women are raped by black men, when every year single digit black women are raped by white men, yet frat boys are the face of white culture when you can literally hear unapologetic rape culture in nearly every hip hop song. 1/3 of black men are felons, yet this is always blamed on us when objective studies of police performance wrt to race, bare out that police are LESS likely to be bias against black men (most likely due to fear of being called racist). I believe it was NCIS that took actual crimes around the NY City that were perpetrated by black men, and cast with white men so often that the show at one time had cast more white men as criminals than there were ACTUAL criminals in NY City. I could go on...

Over and over again, white men are cast in outsized proportions to reality, as villains and most especially in humiliating roles. Any masculine white character needs to always be out shined by some woman or colored man in some hubristic surprise! way that your average white man growing up today is completely cowed because they don't want to associate with what they are. Isn't that what the left cries about wrt to gays and trannies? Not being able to be what your bones tell you are? That's the very definition of hypocrisy and low morals. That's some DEEP hate right there from a group of people I don't know and don't want to know.

reply

Unambiguous white supremacist diarrhea on display.

Anti racism/ anti white supremacy to a white supremacist = anti white. With that in mind it should put into perspective the kind of degenerate mindset that perpetuates that kind of twisted logic.

reply

There is absolutely nothing Anti-White about the show but it starts off by presenting Anti-White Supremacy views.

reply

It's interesting that you equate anti-racism with being anti-white.

reply

Because it is. No other country but a white country could even be said to have issues with drastically different minorities but white countries, because we're the only ones not racist enough to let them in in the first place. We are the most wholesome people, and this fact is often used to make fun of us in the same movies that turn around and call us all racist assholes.

reply

Since not all white people are racist, I don't see how the show is anti white. It is anti racist.

reply

Your white tears taste delicious.

reply

White people who aren't low key sympathetic to degenerate white supremacist sensibilities aren't the ones crying.

reply

100% agree.

reply

Says the white guy, most likely. You must really hate yourself there, eh buddy?

And if you're not, I guess I could just say that: "Your brown tears taste delicious" - totally not racist btw.

I mean, this is a definite sign of progress right here. Throwing around insults based on people's race. Your leftist ideology is certainly regressi... I mean, progressive, yes.

reply

Why assume I'm caucasian? I'm not. You are welcome to say whatever you want, this being a free country and all. The insult wasn't based on people's race but on their actions. Those actions being the dismissal of the blatant anti black jokes on this show. Non-whites rarely suffer from this type of reality denial, therefore I feel justified in using the insult.

reply

Why assume I'm caucasian?

You're right, but I guess he was giving you the benefit of the doubt. XD

reply

FYI white supremacists enjoy deflecting their bigotry back at anti racists/anti white supremacists with "I know you are but what am I" which is why it's always best to be clear that you're referring to the alt righters & other low life white supremacist types & not decent white people who acknowledge the evils of degenerate white supremacy and reject it.

reply

Agreed. I just assume decent white folk know I'm not referring to them.

reply

So I'm a white supremacist because I don't think we should insult people, anyone, based on their race? Seriously - fuck you.

reply

😒
