pretty boring
dull movie
shareit is dull.
shareYeah there was no real peak, was there? Him running around the conversion place for that few minutes to get his Mom on the phone.
I thought it was a good story with a good message, but yeah...a bit of a snoozefest =P
Saw this last night and I wasn’t bored at all. It was refreshing for me to see a film told in such a straightforward way, without sensationalism or sentimentality. I kept expecting the traditional Hollywood moment of tearful resolution but it never really came. It was all the better for it.
It struck me as a very Australian way of telling a dramatic story, understated and observational, similar to a lot of Aussie dramas. I guess Edgerton brought that sensibility to it and having Kidman and Crowe in lead roles made it more pronounced.
An important story told well. Loved it. 4/5
