Who ever said any film could solve racism?
Why is showing 2 very different people find common ground such a thing for people to throw histrionic rants over.
Must all films about race only show one side victimized and the other a monster?

reply

Finally. Moving on to thousands of years of religious blood war.

reply

How did it do that?

reply

They hugged at the end, and it said they remained friends for the rest of their lives, hence the end of racism.

reply

Going by the offence it has caused some people, it appears it may have intensified feelings.

reply

And why would that be?
It does seem that some people just prefer conflict.

reply

I'm making an observation. Not a judgement.

But I do agree that some people prefer conflict. I'm not one of them.

reply

Yeah, I get it.
I just think that there are so many films and so many portrayals of racism and divisiveness that there should be room for one, without so much scorn, that involves a white man and a black man coming together as friends.... .
