A total mediocre mess

This show is such a mess I don't even know where to begin. I do not recommend it at all. And, from having watched the movie, I was totally willing to give this the benefit of the doubt. I hope you don't.

SPOILERS BE HERE

So I am going to use episode 4 of this show to demonstrate what I mean. They are at an airport about to "escape", but Hanna decides this is the time to confront her father. Sure, they have been set up, but they do not know that. Really writers of this show? Right then and there she has to confront her father? It is suspense for no reason. And then the father outruns automatic gunfire (and so does Hanna apparently). Bad, horrible, sloppy writing.

The pacing is completely off in this show as well. It goes from hot to cold sporadically, leaving the viewer to guess as to why there was suspense two minutes ago, and now there isn't.

And the horrible fake accents, oh my goodness. Where to start. Also note that Joel Kinnaman switches accents around every corner. I was looking forward to him reuniting with Mireille Enos on-screen again as I thought they had great chemistry in The Killing.

It is a very hard no on this one. Nothing came together for me, and the plot was all over the place. The gaps in the story were unforgivable. Watch the movie twice if you have to, and skip this nonsense entirely.
