this was decent sci-fi

reminded me of MOON and EX MACHINA both. that's not a spoiler in anyway. the sets seems similar to MOON and it has that isolated vibe, with the one guy, and it involves robots - all shown in the trailer.

was a good watch though. enjoyed

Better than Moon by far, in my opinion. I can't recall the details, but there was one gigantic hole in the story in that film which made me dismiss it as utter garbage of a film. This movie.... was actually quite interesting - there were no problems with the final twist (which, as I recall, is where I had the biggest issue with Moon).

FYI if I got this right, ARCHIVE was made by the guy that did the sets/art on Moon. To me, they were kinda too similar with the "lone guy at a base" -- like he sort of just put a spin on Moon. But, still decent and good for a viewing.

If it was the same dude, he made vast improvements with this film - in terms of the story.

Moon worked for me, I didn't mind it at all, and after a while, its one I can go back to.

Even casting the main guy - zaphod, worked. But I'm sure if I like him. He just either works, or doesn't. lol

Isolation, companion robots, unknown external influences, and kablammo, plot twist.

MOON was the first thing I thought of... and in a way, it was...
