A prime example of a director trying to be sophisticated for sophistication's sake

I'll start off by saying I did not like this movie. What's frustrating me the most though is people all over the web spinning their wheels trying to find hidden meanings or messages that simply aren't there. Reason being the director didn't do a good enough job to flush out the story or provide enough information for viewers to form concrete theories. Not sure if it was from lazy writing or that he honestly thought he was just in leaving things as is. Regardless this was extremely painful to watch. Was intrigued by Get Out (which was just as ridiculous) and thought I'd give this one a shot in theaters. Never again.
