Rasputin

There's differing accounts. I've read the people trying to kill him gave him poisoned tea, cakes and wine. But none of it worked or worked quick enough, so in the end they shot him.

I also wonder why they needed to make up the idea of him having a thing for young boys. Every documentary I've ever seen on Rasputin had him as a pretty voracious womanizer, but I've never heard of him having gay proclivities.

I say it's the Bakewell Tart (now I know the name). He only started coughing blood after gobbling it down like a savage. That or Orlando's wound. ;)
