5/10. Needed a more engaging script

The premise is fine, if not original. We've seen this sort of conflict before -- hospital administration demands versus medical need -- in numerous TV series such as Greys Anatomy.

Unfortunately the clunky writing tries to make everything more complicated than it really is.

As much as I like Kelsey Grammar, he is unfortunately typecast as Frasier for better or worse. Here he sports some really weird looking hair -- the reasons for which become clear as part of the story -- which is distracting. Furthermore, I couldn't really buy him as a cynical doctor who is forced into a moral dilemma.

The biggest surprise for me here was Janeane Garofalo who plays the part of the ruthless administrator willing to make a deal with the devil. She has all but disappeared in the last ten years.
