what's not to like?

Okay, so it's not the best movie ever, fine, but I really don't understand people's issues. It tied up loose ends and made sense. Sorry if it wasn't fast-paced enough, but you know it's a Shyamalan movie.

Legitimately curious, to those who didn't like it, what was it lacking for you? How specifically would you have preferred it?

I liked it ... but I can't defend it against the biggest criticisms

It did drag on, and the clover conspiracy came out of left field without any reasonable foreshadowing, which makes it feel like a plot contrivance

Okay, I can agree with that, it felt tacked on. Clover felt a bit like The Cabin in the Woods, except it didn't work well here. Everything else that happened in Glass, which was more what it was actually about, still could've easily happened organically had Staple actually been who she said she was

It was okay...it ran too long, the whole "psychologist" plot was done in Split and wasn't necessary for a rehash. I'll have to think more on it since I just got back from it but it didn't resonate with me the way Unbreakable and Split did.

I liked it. Didn't love it like Unbreakable and Split though. Not sure why people hate it so much. I liked the ending too.

I didn't like the secret scociety. All else would have worked without that. James McAvoy was great.

Just because it made sense and tied loose ends doesn't mean it's also good.

I think a big part of the movie is wasted with that useless "it's all in your head" garbage. It's not that it's slow, i don't like marvel movies and i didn't want more fight scenes or anything here. It's just that the slow parts were mediocre. I can't believe how long they kept dragging on with this "you don't actually have super powers" angle when i saw earlier and in the previous two films that clearly they did.

I would have totally been on board with a crazy twist like that, to actually have it be all in their heads. Problem is that they never had any compelling evidence for it. By that point, we've seen way too much to be convinced.

Mr Glass also didn't do much for most of the movie. It took way too long for his mediocre plan to come to action. Was hoping for something more...interesting after 19 years in captivity.
