(Urine is yellow water)
Maybe urinating would give him a strength boost since his body was evacuating water.

shareI know this is supposed to be a “silly” thread, but Stephen King used potty humor like this to good effect
In “The Nightflyer,” the protagonist sees a vampire in the bathroom mirror while it’s peeing. All he can see is the urine AFTER it hits the urinal porcelain.
It’s a crass but effective juxtaposition of supernatural with the pedestrian
Bottom line: David Dunn’s bathroom considerations could fit into the narrative just fine, especially in a “grounded” superhero flick like this
If he urinated into a Glass bottle it could have been so symbolic.
