Anyone else annoyed at..

In the final action scene where it goes from night, to a sunny day, to a stormy day within the space of a few minutes.

I did enjoy the movie overall, just found that one part to be a little confusing.

So, everything else was believable and non-confusing except for that??

It's a frikkin' movie, for God's sake.

Even the weather in that reality is fast & furious!

Sounds like someones never been to the south pacific. Fast weather changes happen regularly. Now a man being able to jump from the 30th floor of a building, smashing through a thick plate glass ceiling, and landing on a car without ending up a bloody mess is far more unbelievable.

My personal favorite was The Rock doing the Pillars of Hercules on a cargo chopper. Not just a regular chopper, but a damn cargo one. That's some special TST sauce

I noticed it but didn't find it confusing as they literally mentioned that would happen - in the actual film's dialogue! - just a few minutes before.

Here we go, the actual dialogue for anyone who wasn't actually listening / concentrating too hard (admittedly perfectly plausible in a Rock / Statham team up movie!):-

"Tomorrow morning, there'll be a
storm raging on the north cliffs.

We'll build a
no man's land there.
And if all else fails,
that'll be our last stand.
Hey, how many more
of these we gonna do?
Just keep digging, brother.
When we were in
Kandahar running raids,
we would always strike
just before dawn.
That's when the
enemy's most tired.
Still under the cover of night.

When the battle
shifts into high gear,
you got the sun in your back.
We let 'em all in.
And we make sure
they never leave.
Kill box. I like it."

It's listed as a Goof on imdb.
A similar goof happened in Predator.

reply

This is why I took it one star minus.

I have been to Hawaii before and it was clear skies then raining in just minutes.
