South Korean Version Of No Way Out Basically

I sort of liked this movie. It had some inventive action scenes, which are what really stood out, but the plot for this film was pretty much a South Korean version of No Way Out, which was already a remake of Luc Besson's Le Femme Nikita.

It was hard to shake the comparisons between the films, and it sort of lacked the feminine charm of Le Femme Nikita and it was a little bit longer than No Way Out, putting it in the awkward position of being a high octane action flick at the beginning that slowed down drastically in the middle of the flick.

I think the movie was okay but they should have either gone with an all-out action flick or settled on a dramatic thriller. Starting the film with that some first-person mode and then turning into something softer kind of ruined the pace for me. It was like the complete opposite of The Man From Nowhere, which started really slow but then steadily just kept increasing in intensity until it hit that super awesome ending.
