What happened to the Rich Wife & Her Son? (SPOILERS)

Parasite is my favorite film of not only 2019, but probably the past 3 years. Just WOW.

SPOILERRRRR

The massacre at the end was so unexpected (yet I did feel tension mounting to something). I know it's probably left to the audience to decide, but everyone else gets a conclusion except the rich wife and her son who had the sudden seizure after seeing the bunker husband? They did sell the house apparently. Did her son live? It didn't look good from what I was seeing. I actually found the wealthy wife to be an intriguing character. Her and her rich husband weren't these empty "nice" people the poor family made them out to be.

Anyways, if you have avoided Parasite because it's a foreign film- DON'T. You won't feel like you're watching subtitles. You're being told a story- and it's brilliant!

The boy wasn’t stabbed. He had another seizure after seeing his “ghost” (aka the bunker husband) for the second time. Ironic because before that moment he is being presented with his “therapy cake” that was supposed to be a closure to that first encounter.

Hey thank you so much for verifying that! There was so much activity going on during the finale, that I was under the impression the son had accidentally been stabbed too, since the daughter was right in front of him. You can still die from a seizure, but I guess that's rare? I still wondered what happened to the wife and her son (though I assume she would have been the one that took the poor wife, son to court).

I am going to rewatch Parasite now. The scene where the boy see's the "ghost" (the bunker husband) is the most haunting part of the film to me- I didn't expect it!
