The explosion as they ran from the Opera House was ameature looking


From what I could see, it was a single explosive device they were trying to get rid of.

It blew up in a somewhat slow chain reaction, right to left.

To me that looked like a cheap special effects team.

yeah they should have used cgi and nuked it. because that explosion was so central to the entire STORY

I agree, it looked tinier than I was expecting...

But I guess the goal was not to blow up the whole building...I dunno.

It's a building. All too often in action films, buildings (or any other structure) that has nothing explosive in them blow up like they were full of petrol. Which they often are, to make the explosion better. The only explosive thing in that building was the explosives themselves. And they were small.

When I saw it I just kept thinking "That was expensive I bet."

Probably $120 million right there.
