Looks Like a Cluster

I feel like this will be a mix of Inception and Memento. In other words pay complete attention and keep your phone away from you. Preferably do not eat and probably do not talk to anyone. Or you will end up not sure what you’re watching. It’s probably pretentious. I feel like I want to see this but will wait to watch it alone at home where I can pay undivided attention.

I would have thought the opposite was true. Far more likely for your attention to wander when watching at home. Using your phone, eating etc. You shouldnt be using a phone in a cinema anyway.

That said...i need to watch it again with subtitles because some of the dialogue is not easy to understand.

It’s certainly not pretentious and it’s nothing like any of Nolan’s other films, why critics have likened it to Inception doesn’t seem like the right comparison.

It’s a modern James Bond movie if a modern James Bond movie explored the concept of time inversion.

It’s also much better on second viewing, although I still think it’s lacking the thrills and heart of many of Nolan’s other films.

i dont think people use the term pretentious correctly anymore :(

you shouldn't talk or use your phone in theatres anyway. but even if you're focussed you won't fully understand all aspects of the movie on first viewing.

Reading these comments just confirm my thoughts of the trailer. Even if I’m paying full attention I still won’t understand it 😂 sounds about right. Maybe the 3rd viewing will be the charm.
