Better than Fixer Upper

Erin is a better designer than Joanna, and Ben is funnier than Chip but without being an annoying idiot. They do a great job with old houses, keeping their historical style, construction techniques, and materials instead of spoiling them with plastic windows and the latest trendy crap.

That being said, I do wish Erin (and all the other HGTV/DIY designers) would stop putting books on shelves backwards. It just shouts "I don't actually ever read books, I just buy shovel loads of them for decor."
