Good performances, solid script, lots of talent, but ...


... just not a satisfying film. Everything made sense and all of that. It was very believable, maybe too much so. The problem is that the story it presents is a very depressing one. Yes, one might learn something about dementia and the effects it has on a person and all those close to them, but that alone does not make a movie that is enjoyable to watch. I can't help but think that there were plenty of opportunities to sprinkle bits of humor into this story to make it more appealing, but that just was not done...

There are also about three false endings. You keep thinking it's over, but then it goes on, again. That's not that fun in this case.
