I refuse the ending!
The movie was great! i loved it...but you telling me when they told people to be quiet some of the worlds best minds didn't figure out using sound distortion could help?
I think this is a massive plot hole in the movie....
The monsters seemed pretty easy to kill... and I have no idea why they didn’t set up some kind of device which would make a noise away from the home when needed. They seemed like intelligent people so I don’t know why they acted so dumb.
shareI suppose it would make noise building something on the perimeter like an array of loud speakers. However it would have made noise laying all that sand down to walk on, putting up all those lights, laying down the sand to walk quietly on and also the security cameras around the place,. So a few loud speakers pointing out towards the forest wouldn't cause much hassle
But yeah all you'd need is music, a few Jimi Hendrix records blaring out, Neil Young and Crazy Horses ARC album perhaps (it's all feed back and noise cut from a live concert) get a few hardcore guitar bands to make a Save The World Type album with lots of guitar feedback (recording studios are soundproof), perhaps some hardcore electronica or dubstep, free download on the internet and problem solved.
Can see a comedy skit with that film: Creatures start attacking house Alexa/Google/Siri play some loud music with feedback and noise, creatures run away.
