Hemsworth, already the Brad Pitt replacement, is now tyring to recreate him.

And it's a so so job. Honestly, not embarrassing.

Pitt? It was more of a typical McConaughey role. I couldn't stop thinking of him while watching this.

reply

Yes, more of a McConaghey role, but with an overwhelming physical presence that the small McConaghey couldn't bring. Hemsworth's Billy Lee is a big, powerful, looming, sexually charismatic guy, and has the aura of someone who will fuck you up literally or figuratively. I thought Hemsworth was good.

Brad Pitt has never played a scary guy in his life, not successfully anyway, and his sexual charisma bled away during the Spiderwoman years. Pitt should give up acting and look after his kids.

reply

Hemsworth was really good in this film! I was really impressed with his performance.

reply

i thought discount Brad Pitt immediately.

I thought Pitt was pretty convincingly scary in "Kalifornia" of 1993, where he played a low-IQ hillbilly psychopathic killer with greasy long hair and great abs -- I felt that Hemsworth here was copying Brad Pitt's performance there -- he even looks the same. Hemsworth here is playing a Charles Manson type, and has a vacant "cult girl" follower who is mirrored in Pitt's vacant hillbilly girlfriend(Juliette Lewis) in Kalifornia.
