Worth A Watch

I just happened to come across this while channel surfing so I restarted it on Showtime. It was halfway decent. A girl gets lost because of her GPS and ends up in the backwoods of Kentucky. She is hunted by some hillbillies who want to kill her.

She was so damn stupid! Why get out of the truck to view a map??? That was crazy to me! I still need to finish the last hour of the movie!!

reply

Exactly. these movies usually always have the victim(s) doing something stupid though. I actually found a goof and posted it on IMDB. It's about her sweatshirt.

I thought IMDB board was gone. Unless you talking about rating section where you can leave a comment about the movie?

reply

There is still a section to contribute to “goofs.”

OK thanks.

I wouldn’t go so far as to call it “damn stupid” or “crazy.” She has been driving for a long time, so she probably indeed figured she’d stretch her legs while checking the map. She did need some room to really spread the map out and look at it.

I think the bigger mistake is getting so far down that hick road. She had been driving a long time off the interstate. Wouldn’t she have started questioning her route when she didn’t see another car for 2-3 hours? And once the phone directed her to turn right towards a non-road, she decided to drive further up instead of driving back or checking her map then.

She expected to find an alternative road on the right to take here where the GPS was directing her.

I agree. It was a good, suspenseful movie.
