What a great series!

This is what TV can be when done right. I'm looking forward to more excellent shows, and more Benedict Cumberbatch, who is my new favorite actor.

It was a tour de force performance. I hope he’s nominated and wins an Emmy for this.

Amen. I could not agree more.

He definitely deserves it!

It has stuck with me for days, especially the first episode. We see him go the entire gamut of human emotion. It had to be exhausting, I would think, for the actor.

Yes. I agree completely. What a great series, and what a great performance. He deserves an Emmy. If he does not get one, then obviously the fix is in.

I didn't care for it. You know the performing arts concept of sympathy? It doesn't mean you feel bad for the character. It means you enjoy spending time with the character. You are glad when he appears on screen. I didn't feel that way about any of the characters in PATRICK MELROSE. That got me thinking. Why on earth did we need another piece about suffering people engaging in substance abuse? What did PATRICK MELROSE bring to the table that justified the expense and trouble of making it or my time in watching it?

That's why they make chocolate and vanilla.
