'we're FBI agents' and Chastain dressed like Scully - XFiles

The aliens - similar to ones from Knowing

The space mission rescue opening - Superman IV (also 4th movie dud)

Space vampires - Lifeforce

Train battle finale - Under Siege 2

Outside café ending - Dark Knight Rises (also Mission Impossible 1)

Cosmic alien threat to humanity v marvel superheroes = InfinityWar/Endgame (also the 4th team up movie. and DOFP/Apocalypse also shared a few similarities with IW/EG)

superheroes fighting shapeshifting aliens in the 90s = Captain Marvel

also regarding X3 - quite a close remake - opening with young Jean and parents and then meeting Charles, reusing some of the dialogue Jean saying "get out of my head" to Charles...Raven saying 'what did you do to her Charles' like Logan did (when Charles is also attempting repair of Jeans mind).. also the visit to Jeans home/fight outside/accidental death of a major character. Charles blamed for blocking Jeans memories.

I thought the opening rescue mission was a little like the old Thunderbirds tv shows from the 60s.
