Old Cast vs New Cast

Charles X:

This is the most difficult call for me. Both McAvoy and Stewart are excellent cast in the role. I think pre-Logan I would have given this one to McAvoy. But Patrick Stewart's performance in that film was memorable in a way that none of McAvoys have been. Stewart wins with and honorable mention to McAvoy.

Magneto:

As great and actor as McKellen is, Fassbender wins this one hands down. McKellen is mostly cartoonish(maybe he is just written that way), Fassbender gives a depth and nuance to the role that wasn't there in the original X-men series. Fassbender has been pretty much the highlight of every one of the new X-men films for me.

Wolverine:

Jackman and Jackman are both really good in this role. I think Jackman edges it.

Mystique:

No prizes for guessing who wins this one. Romijn was great in the role, but then anyone would have been better than Lawrence, who is the most annoying presence in every film

Scot Summers: ? both were forgettable.
