Sorry but she is simply not convincing with this character never-mind that she sin't a very good actress to begin with.

Agree her acting is very bland and soap opera ish, the trailer to X-men movies were always great and exciting this looks very dull and boring. Even if it is a teaser

This isn’t really a X-Men movie according to the director. It’s a Jean Grey movie like Logan was Wolverine’s movie, hence why it’s simply called “Dark Phoenix”.

It will be the best film of 2019 alongside with shazam and ww1984
no one gives crap about avengers 4 lol especially after mcu fans gonna boycott this films for firing of james gunn

There was another version of the trailer that got leaked which had Jean wrecking a building while flying and going fully Phoenix with flaming hair. Word is that they took out those parts because it looked similar to the Captain Marvel trailer.

Yeah, i love the x-men but I just cannot seem to get as hyped up for this as I usually do. Perhaps she'll surprise us. But so far I also think she makes the character a bit dull.
