Slow and boring......

A decent writer could've done all of this in 4 episodes. It's got a few good moments, but it just mopes along with sluggish progression.

Some of the older ones (Carrie, Cujo, Christine).

Well, he is known for a slow build up and attention to details. Though, it is different when watching a movie or series.

I'm not too invested in it myself. I think it is an intriguing concept with some moments here and there, but I just am not that engaged in it.

I agree...Im bored.
