Why did Tim Doyle depart as showrunner for "Schooled" after the first 13 episodes of Season 2?

The only information that was officially given was that creative differences sparked by Doyle’s vision for the comedy, which did not reconcile with ABC, Sony TV, and ABC Studios’.

Not sure ...I just wished "The Kids are alright" was never cancelled, he did a great job on that. Perhaps he was still bitter on the cancelation of his own show and he had a hard time accepting taking orders?

When I asked that question on the subreddit for The Goldbergs all that I got was "What other info are you looking for? People leave projects over creative differences all the time in Hollywood."
