Not a bad show.

I started watching this since I'm a fan of "The Goldbergs". The backdoor pilot was a bit underwhelming. When the writers kinda altered the plot and centered it around Lainey, it has been pretty good so far.

The only thing I wish they would change is having somebody else narrate the episodes. I like AJ Michalka but it must involve a lot of work.

At least on the original show they have an older Adam F. Goldberg discussing his life in the 1980s. They should've done the same for "Schooled".
