🕹️ The last great adventure game?

It took me while to play this as the retro graphics had always put me off a little, but I regret that now have finally played it and enjoyed it greatly!

It was created by LucasArts vets Ron Gilbert and Gary Winnick so I finally gave in and bought it, and to my joy this point and click adventure is as much fun to play as their early adventure games, the puzzles, characters and voice acting are all excellent for this genre, the game itself is fun and humorous to play, taking control of 6 different characters throughout the story.

If you liked early LucasArts adventure games such as The Secret of Monkey Island, Grim Fandango and Day of the Tentacle you’ll most likely enjoy this!

Some people complained about the ending, but it left me wondering if Ron Gilbert had stuck around at LucasArts for Monkey Island 3, would that of been Guybrush Threepwood’s fate?

Last week YouTube randomly recommended me a video of Ron Gilbert discussing Thimbleweed Park and his older games, that sparked my interest in Thimbleweed Park again...thanks YouTube!
