Why is it called "Condor".
I know it's based on the novel "Six Days of the Condor" and on the same name movie, but in this TV show they NEVER use the code name 'Condor' and NEVER call any of the characters by that name or by any bird name at all....
In the movie they used this code name several times.
So- why call this TV show "Condor" at all???

The movie was. The book was "6 days..."

I'd guess for marketing purposes, so people would connect it and guess the subject matter and thus want to see it. It worked on me!

I've watched the first episode and it did hook me, despite the difference in the basic setup.
