The last part of the movie fell flat...

Spoilers...

The movie was doing good until that last 30 or so minutes.

It started fast with the army theme and battling the monsters over there. Then the meet up with Tony Jaa and working together to take down the baddy. Ok I’m all in now....

Until a weird Jurassic Park scene that gets interrupted by a Game of Thrones meets Pirates of the Caribbean moment.

I felt like what are we doing now people... oh here’s a cat person making food and Mila flirting with it. Then...

Here’s a tower and it’s guarded but if you help us you can go home and everyone shoots arrows and Mila falls through a portal and she’s home the end.... no not yet. We didn’t ask for more but we get more dragon and Ron Perlman action. This dragon is fortunately dumb and loses a head on fight unlike the one who manages to overcome McCaughnehy (?) in that other movie.

So overall a fun movie but that ending almost ruined it for me, and yet I hope there’s a sequel.
