Agreed. My two biggest annoyances with this show are the overkill when it comes to the senior doctors ego/prejudice and Freddie playing it a little too much like Rainman.

The blatant prejudice the doctor displays in this show isn't very realistic. In this day and age, discrimination based on disability is a big no no and in reality the senior doctor would actually spend more time being cautious in his treatment of a resident with autism.

As for Highmore's performance, I feel like its a little too over the top. Especially when compared to the younger version of himself who was playing it with a little more emotion than he does.

I still like the show. I hope it gets better. Right now, its getting pretty frustrating.
