"Break Out" S1, E4 - American Values

Patricia Campbell interrogates an American Taliban to try to get information from him that will prevent an attack on Americans.

She tries to appeal to his sense of American patriotism by mentioning American values such as "freedom of speech"...and "gender equality."

"Gender equality"???

Freedom of speech I can understand, but since when did gender equality become an American value to the point that it would make an American Taliban come back to our side?
