That's the 3rd piece of recent Terminator news from that WeGotThis site along with the potential return of Cameron and Robert Patrick

This all didn't seem possible ..but then Predator seemed dead a short while ago so who knows ..We've been here before so any times when Terminator seemed dead then its back.. and maybe studios are desperate to do any known fanboy stuff now due to covid . and maybe actors like Robbie are saying yes to everything they can get their hands on (she's already attached to a new Pirates)

According to IMDB trivia Robbie was considered for Sarah Conner in Genisys

LOL no, just no.

Robbie is a good supporting actress but she just doesn't have the charm or appeal to lead big blockbusters on her own, as evident with the Harley Quinn flick. She was sexy and appealing in a gutter-trash sort of way in Suicide Squad but, you wanted to see more of her because we were only given small bits of her, and small bits mostly in the best ways.

A Terminator starring Robbie and John Cena is a recipe for trash. I like John, I really do, but he needs very specifically tailored films for his set of skills and unless he's playing as a war-weary soldier attempting to stop a Terminator, then I just don't care what this film has to offer (assuming it ever gets made, but hopefully it doesn't).
