Woke movies that are actually good?

i quite enjoyed 'annihilation'. any other "woke" movies that are watchable?

Recent films off the top of my head:

Black Panther
Maleficent 1 & 2
Aladdin
Booksmart
Love, Simon
Iron Man
The Help
Mean Girls

But there’s also plenty of older woke films. Thelma and Louise, for example. The Colour Purple. Girl, Interrupted. How far back are we going?

I think I would add Cars 3 to that list. Rather than tear down Lightning, the movie has him gracefully accept it's his time to step into the role of mentor and pass the torch.

T:DF brought that movie to my mind, actually. Were Miller less of a tool he might've had Terminator go "woke", if he must've, more tactfully this way. All he would've had to do was make the story something like John Connor had to be protected because he ultimately saves the life of the "true" future leader of the resistance, or something.

That's a pretty good idea. John Connor was never really a character so much as the figurehead for an ideology. He represented the ideals of the resistance movement, in order to inspire that movement to happen in the first place. Him being the one who protects the true leader works well because it sets him up as even more of a saviour overall - making himself the target of attacks from future enemies serving as red herring to disguise the true leader is pretty self-sacrificing.

The reason men have a problem with feminists is because of experience.
WHat men read about feminists is that every time yu are with your feminist wife/girlfriend, your feminist wife/girlfriend maybe they'll hit you.
