David S. Goyer is THE TERMINATOR!

This man has now single handily TERMINATED multiple film franchises including Blade, Zack Synder's Superman "reboot", Ben Affleck's Batman "reboot", Ghost Rider, The Unborn remake, Jumper, and now the Terminator franchise.

True, he had other writers "help him" on some of these projects (MOS fanboys used to gloat about having "Academy award winning screenwriter" Chris Terrio on Batman vs. Superman would somehow make that movie not suck... WHOOPS! All it did was turn him from an Academy award winning writer to a Razzie award winning one). However, everytime they put Goyer "in charge" of something and make him the head writer, it turns to crap.

His few "good" movies, like Nolan's Dark Knight films, are thanks to the Nolan brothers having complete creative control over the project INSTEAD of giving Goyer their blessing to write whatever HE wants.

Let's face it, Goyer has been much more sucessful at TERMINATING beloved stuff than Arnold was in any of the Terminator movies.

If they ever make a Hollywood Walk of Shame, he needs to be one of the first batch of inductees, along with Alex Kurtzman, Damon Lindelof, Michael Bay, Zack Synder, Akiva Goldsman, and Rian Johnson.

He definitely is hit and miss, but to say that he fucked the Blade franchise up is disingenuous. He wrote all three films, at least two of which are awesome. (And I was able to have some fun with Blade: Trinity as well).

You also have to go ahead and give him credit for The Dark Knight series. To just dismiss his contribution the way you've done in your OP isn't right.

It's also worth noting that on IMDB he is credited with writing an "earlier draft" of the Dark Fate script so who even knows how closely his draft resembles the final film.

Lastly, you can leave Michael Bay off your Walk of Shame. The Rock, Pain & Gain and 13 Hours are all awesome movies.

goyer might not be a good writer, but if someone terminated the terminator franchise, then certainly david ellison. he's the one who came up with the initial story ideas for dark fate and hired all those hacks. he's also the one who decided genisys has to be pg-13, because he "always saw terminator as a family blockbuster".
