I'm going with 60 percent, it will be a huge improvement over what Salvation and Genisys got which was about 33 to 26 percent. It has a chance to get as high as Terminator 3 did which was around 70 percent but it won't get the critical acclaim the first two got. Having Cameron, Hamilton, and Furlong back though will help it.

shareI totally agree. The problem is 70% RT can still mean quite a bad film. T3 was an abomination except the ending and Kristanna Loken's ass.
My prediction is round 65%. I still hope the latina girl will be the mom and not the resistance leader itself. If the latter is true, it will drag audience score in the toilet.

Not gonna bother with the audience score for reasons that should be obvious (salty reactionary propagandists be salty).
But yeah, I’m being very optimistic with that 85. I’m hoping for the best but maybe expecting... not the best. A mixed reception wouldn’t surprise me. I think there’s good reasons to feel some optimism with all the talent involved, though. We shall see...
Critics have a hard time being overtly critical of female lead movies these days, so I'll say 70%. (Remember Ghostbusters,yikes) but it will fall to around 60 eventually. Fan score will be much lower.

critics will praise the action and grittier tone (compared to the last 3 installments), but certainly the script is flawed (too many writers, and their previous work was rather underwhelming too).
