why make Mackenzie Davis look like a dude?
empowering to look like a guy?
shareIt probably is something to do with "empowerment" or some such nonsense. Remember a while back when James Cameron criticized Gal Gadot in Wonder Woman for being sexist because she was to "traditionally feminine"? He must think the only way to have a strong female character is by making her indistinguishable from a man.
shareI think she looks the part. I mean, I doubt women in the future apocalypse have any interest in looking feminine, incl. having long hair. Especially if it's a woman who has been somewhat modified through enhancement and most likely views herself as a pure weapon, not just a weekend warrior, so to speak.
I didnt like the way she looked at first, but now I couldnt care less. She looks like a battle hardened warrior from the future. Of course she will have a muscled shape because she is a warrior, much like how the original Kyle Reese was slim but strong looking. It looked convincing.
Jai Courtney is how someone from a post apocalyptic future should NOT look like... unless he had access to a gym in SkyNet central with endless amounts of protein shakes and steaks.

Cara Delevingne doesn't look masculine.
shareBecause for feminists the more a woman looks and acts like a man the more "empowered" she is.
shareI wonder the same.
It is still time to put her a wig with cgi in postproduction
