Think it'll be good?

I think so with Cameron involved.

reply

Nope

The first two Terminators were good. Every one of them after that has sucked. Hollywood has to realize that not every movie needs to be a franchise.

reply

Hell yea, J! I hell yea hope so anyway.

After the last three Terminators, why should anyone feel hopeful about this one you may ask? Well, personally I’ve been optimistic about it ever since it was first announced, and the reason for that is because of all the talent involved. Cameron aside, Tim Miller as director was enough to pique my interest. I am loving the cast, too.

And this sounds very promising https://movieweb.com/terminator-6-dark-fate-cinemacon-footage-description/

Perhaps it wasn’t the whole film that was screened, but I can tell you that reading these positive reactions is definitely raising my excitement levels.

Now IF the final film doesn’t live up to the hype the early footage has built up... oh well. But if it does turn out great and leaves a strong impression on both critics & audiences alike, then that’s delightful. (Side note: you know how plenty of those already hating on the movie for whatever silly reasons -“my manhood is being attacked!” - will end up hating it no matter what. Then there’s the colossal nitpickers. Oh, typical complaining internet.)

I am super eager to see this one.

I had high hopes but it has become less and less over time but I will be happy if its something like Salvation, nothing great put passable.

Arnie's too old... It doesn't work without the age-appropirate Arnie and any plot that has to shoehorn an excuse for his old age is DOOMed to fail from the moment it was set into pre-production.

reply

you dont really have to "shoehorn an excuse for his old age "
Machines age. My car sure as hell has aged in the last 30 years.
If the machine is covered in living tissue , surely that will age too.
They covered it in the last film

reply

They covered this in the last film, which now they are throwing out of cannon like the trash it really is.
Casting Jay Courtney as Kyle Reese? Seriously, what the fuck were they thinking? Does this guy have friends at Hollywood or something?
Casting Emilia Clarke as Sarah Connor was not a good casting choice either, the only true reason she's getting roles in blockbuster movies because of how popular GoT is. Personally, I don't she can anything but a Mother of Dragons anymore...

Looks awful.
