This should be classified as a "horror" movie

Horror movie as in HORRIBLE...!!! This was such a stinker. The mother & daughter acting was bottom of the barrel. And the writing... ugh. She goes from some tough talking brat to a weepy "mommy" help me brat. Mommy... every time she calls her "mommy" I wanted to hurl.

I agree with most of what you said. I thought the climax was very anti-climactic. I would've liked to have seen a chase followed by a struggle between Sylvie and Julie and then Sylvie and Ellen. A missed opportunity for some suspense, in my opinion. Sorry, it's the writer in me. A 6 at best.

I agree. I actually wanted mom to allow her to rot a bit behind bars for the teen's attitude towards her. Mom's reactions to different scenarios like the initial confrontation by the over-dramaticized detectives (particularly Jaleel White) really had me lose some interest in the movie. Why would a lawyer behave the way she did during such a scenario especially during the search warrant? The audacity of Julie to be a little snotty bitch with mom just didn't flow right me given the circumstances; then again she is still a "teenager". I still think it was all poorly played out. But overall it was ok for a one time watch. I guess that's the most I can ask for in a Lifetime movie. ["Mommy!!!".... ugh.]

Bad is too nice of a word to describe this movie. The actors did their best with a horrible script though. I wanted the daughter to have done it because it would have made for a better movie.

Sylvie's reason for framing Julie was lazy writing. I would've liked it to have been something with more depth.

One of the worst LT movies ever. Spoiled little girl still with an attitude towards her mother, even when she's on trial for murder.

This movie can was pure garbage. Enough with the entitled *beep* privileged kids.
